He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael F. Foley and Ina Foley (Davis); and his former wife Elaine Laufenberg. He is survived by: his wife Ruth DeVries-Wiersema of Clinton; his children, Barb Koenes (Robert) of Clinton, David Foley of Clinton, Doris Whalen (Mark) of Fulton, IL, Susan McChane of Albany, IL and Michelle Johnson (Darwin) of Clinton; his stepchildren, Kathy Montgomery (Don) of Fulton, IL, Jim Wiersema of Fulton, Cindy Wiersema of Dyersville, IA, Tim Wiersema (Bonny) of Clinton and Russell Wiersema (Karen) of Morrison; and his sister-in-law Emmy Foley of Davenport, IA. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
