He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Kuhl and Emily Kuhl (Welp); his wife Violet Richard; his sons, Mark and Greg Kuhl; his parents-in-law, Ed and Alice Richard; his sister Mary Baumhover; and his siblings-in-law, Hank Bromelkamp, Ron Baumhover, Tom, Jim, John Richard, Merle, Bob Klaas, Vern Alt, Dorothy Klaas Alt, Carol Campbell and Mary Richard.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Jim Crigger; his children, Carol, Luke Kuhl of Clinton, John Kuhl (Dawn Krebs) of Clinton, James Kuhl (Colleen) of Dubuque, IA, Mary Matelich (Craig) of Polson, MT and Margaret Kuhl of Clinton; his grandchildren, Scott (Rachael), Adam (Erin), Jacob Crigger (Amber Schultz), Jill Wirth (Travis), Emily (Erik Lutz), Samantha Dodd (Brayton Rasche), Abigail Petersen (Mark), Alexander Dodd (Lee Meier), Molly O'Brien (Joe), Rachel Kuhl, Megan Kuhl-Stennes (Seth), Mark (Bridget), Maureen, Mackenzie Kuhl (James Gathje), Ben, Nathan (Heidi), Joe (Lisa), Tom Matelich and Matthew; his sister Elaine Bromelkamp of Rochester, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Richard (Diana), Jeanette Klaas, Joan Richard, Viola Necker (Bob) and Jeannette Richard. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
