We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2020, at the age of 89, Mary Lou Hannafan of Clinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Brandt (Uhlenhake) and Gustav Brandt; and her siblings, Helen, Verna Mae, Catherine, John, Gus and Louis (A. J.).
She is survived by: her children, Terrence (Elizabeth), Itanhaém, Brazil, Mary Beth and John (Felicia); and her grandchildren, Catherine of Las Vegas, Nevada. and Connor McCarty of Las Vegas, Nevada..
Due to COVID-19, the family will hold a celebration of life tentatively in August 2021 to coincide with what would have been her 91st birthday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clinton Humane Society, Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and MercyOne Clinton Hospice.
