She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Owens and Mary C. McMahon (Naughton); her husband Cecil Dykstra; and her siblings, Carol McMahon and Larry McMahon.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ebensberger (Danny) of Clinton, Thomas R. Spalding (Beth) of Clinton and Bill Spalding (Faye) of Salem, AR; her stepdaughters, Laura and Lynn Dykstra; her grandchildren, Tabitha Spalding, Andy Spalding, Jake Spalding, Ben Spalding, Philip Newton and Patrick Newton; her sister Phyllis Eggers (Dean) of Clinton; and her sister-in-law Kathy McMahon of Minier, IL. She is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Mary Joe's name to Immaculate Conception Church.
