She is survived by: her husband Michael Grothusen of Clinton, Iowa; her daughter Melisa Rempfer of Lawrence; her grandchildren, Meredith and Benjamin; her son Paul Rempfer (Ellen); her grandsons, Gerrit and Jacob of Grant; her daughter-in-law Becky Rempfer; her grandchildren-in-law, Hayden, Alexander and Kinnick of Cresco, Iowa; her siblings, Wayne Wynkoop of Laguna Niguel, California and Linda Portz (Nancy Gustin) of Camanche; and her stepdaughter Rose Pauls (Grothusen).
