She was predeceased by: her parents, Elving Swanson and Gladys Swanson (Peterson); her brother Dennis (Van); her daughters, Vickie and Gloria; and her son-in-law John Newberg.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Steve Lyle of Sarasota Florida; her grandchildren, Molly Zajicek (Bernie), Matt Newberg (Kristen) of Yulee Florida, Beth Duran (Miah) of Kansas City, Brad Lyle of Sarasota Florida, Heidi, Katelyn, Carrie Zajicek and Larson Newberg; her sisters, Glenda Wiese, Mary Newcomb and Corinne Larson (Merle); and her sister-in-law Dolly Snitselaar.
