She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Grimm and Gertrude Grimm (Grossman); her husband John "Jack" Hansen; her son Dennis; and her siblings, Delores Mallinger and Richard Grimm.
She is survived by: her children, John Hansen, Jr. (Becky) of DeWitt, Cherie Rieskamp (Gerald) of Amana, Rhonda Thomas (Mike) of Clinton and Heather Bahnsen (Kevin) of Clinton, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Arlene Grimm of Charlotte, Iowa.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
