He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Daniels and Shirley Daniels (Yates); and his brother Michael Daniels. He is survived by: his wife Karen Schnack of Clinton, IA.; and his daughters, Erin Merrill (Andy) of Riverdale, Ashley Schroeder (Aaron) of DeWitt and Melissa Phillips (Mitch) of Camanche. He is also survived by five siblings.
