He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Arthur and Mary Loreen McKown (Arnes); his wives, Rosemary "Peggy" Young and Joan Hamilton; his sister Joyce Werthmann; and his brothers-in-law, Nel Wistedt, Joe Burkhart and Joe Werthmann.
He is survived by: his children, Michele "Micki" Janssen of Clinton, Lisa Seymour (Kevin McEleney) of Clinton and John McKown (Stephany) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Terry King (Tasha Ross), Brandon Scott, Brianna Anderson (Matt Boles), Taylor Young (Brandon Lackland), Zachary McKown, Dakota Patty, Emma Wulf, Maverick Wulf, Sabrina Witt, Austin Witt (Jaydon) and Chelsea Witt; his great grandchildren, Aliyah, Terrissa, Brandon Jr., Truman, Elijah, Liana, Lyla, Nola, Sienna and Bryson; and his siblings, Judy Wistedt of Rock Island, Mary Jane Burkhart of Davenport and Richard McKown (Diane, family: Brad, Kathy Witt, Jeff Knipper, Marty Wilslef, Brent Melvin, Laura Dodd) of Davenport.
