She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dykstra and Edna Dykstra (Westerhof); her husband Jim; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Houzenga and Michael Houzenga; and her brothers, Wesley Dykstra and Cecil Dykstra.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Stuart (Kent) of Chadwick, IL, Kara Cozart (Barry) of Wilmington, NC, Kris Dornbush (Eric) of Bloomington, IL, Gary Houzenga (Linda) of Fulton, IL, Steven Houzenga (Caroline) of Blooming Prairie, MN and Van Houzenga (Leigh Ann) of Thomson, IL; her brother Charles Dykstra of Fulton, IL.; and her great grandchild Lauren Pelham. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Spring Valley Reformed Church.
