He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Burken of Clinton; his children, Barbara Vakulskas (Mike) of Eldridge, Michael Burken (Heather) of Clinton and Martin Burken (Susan) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Heather Terhune (Ray), Nathan Easley (Kelsey), Hannah, Lexie, Haley and Hillary Burken; his great grandchildren, Brayden Terhune and Hollis Terhune; and his siblings, Jerome Burken (Janis) of Clinton, Leo Burken of Sprageville, IA, Gene Burken (Nancy) of Miles, Earl Burken (Colleen) of Clinton, David Burken (Kathy) of Clinton, Daniel Burken (Lois) of Preston, Donald Burken (Linda) of Clinton, Dora Meyer of Maquoketa, Judy Farrell (Larry) of Clinton, Marietta Trenkamp (Jim Roling) of Clinton, Elaine Holdgrafer (Ron) of Miles and Anna Lorenzen (John) of Bryant. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
