It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois L. Swanson of Clinton, Iowa, born in Bryant, Iowa, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cornilsen and Romey Cornilsen (Bratthauer); her husband Alvin A. Swanson; her siblings, Howard Cornilsen, Lyle Cornilsen, Avalda Malstrom, Lucille Buell and Marilyn Kurtzfield; and her sons, David Alvin and Daniel Edward.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Swanson (Susan) of Cedar Falls and Lori Clausen (late George) of Wheeling, Illinois; her grandchildren, Anna Clausen, Dawn Thrall, Melanie Carinato, Richard Clausen, Andrea Clausen, Allyce Trusheim and Amy Hoidas; her great grandchildren, Isaac Trusheim, Maya Trusheim, Keegan Thrall, Autumn Thrall and Emma Carinato; and her sisters, Delores Diercks and Selma Schilling.
