She is survived by: her son Don Merritt (Cathy Matzen) of Clinton; her stepdaughter Patricia Drazkowski (Dave) of Huntington Beach, California; her son-in-law Tom Smith of Lancaster, California; her grandchildren, Erin Caston (Donald) of Rock Island, Steven Stern (Chelsea) of Charleston, John Stern (Alyse) of Battle Mountain, Brian Merritt (Paula) of Chicago, Colleen Merritt of Eldridge, Ken Drazkowski (Sharon) of Seattle, Ellen Erickson (Rob) of Aliso Viejo and Matt Smith (Maria) of Boulder Creek, California; and her siblings, A. P. Howell, Jr. of Bonham, Wanda Sherman of Gainesville and Betty Fitzmorris (Pat) of Tulsa, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
