She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Diercks and Agnes Diercks (Henningsen); her granddaughter Cherri McDonald; and her brother Vernon. She is survived by: her grandsons, Keith McDonald, Terry McDonald, Brian Gifford, Chuck McDonald, Kent Gifford and Scott Brincks; her great grandchild Tyson McDonald; her spouse Otto Meyer March; her daughters, Myrna Gifford (Gary) of Clinton and Judy Denkman (Dale) of West Liberty, Iowa; her stepdaughters, Donna Bentley of Clinton and Carmelita Rutherford of Tipton, Iowa; and her siblings, Gilbert Diercks (Dolores) of Andover and Darlene Schroeder of Clinton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 20 great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Courageous or Zion Lutheran Church.
