He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Genevieve Emmert (Fullick); and his son James Emmert. He is survived by: his wife Penny of Clinton; his daughter Susan Bavery of Clinton; his grandchildren, Joseph Shelko (Rose) of Macomb, Erin Cullen (Stephen) of Iowa City and Brad Bavery of Gladstone, Illinois; and his sisters, Janet Craft of Wesson and Susan Vaughn of Benson.
