She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fairchild and Winifred Fairchild (Green); and her brother Robert Fairchild. She is survived by: her son Keith King of Clinton, IA; her grandchildren, Jadyn and Brendyn King; her sisters, Sally Drost (Irv) of Cadiz, KY, Judy Gray of Norton Shores, MI and Betty Spence (Lee); and her sister-in-law Gloria Fairchild of Alpena, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics of Iowa.
