He was predeceased by: his aunts and uncles, Dennis, Durwin Wilhelm, Willilam "Pete" Shirley, Janice Wilhelm Schneir and Myrna Shirley Romer.

He is survived by: his parents, Francis Shirley and Dianna Shirley (Wilhelm); his siblings, Scott, Frank and Stacey Shirley; his aunts and uncles, Dwain, Debbie Johnson (Wilhelm), David and Theresa Wilhelm (Stuart); and his nephew Anthony Holstad (AJ). He is also survived by many cousins, close friends, and their children.
