She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Beilenberg and Adeline Beilenberg (Claussen); her husband Carl H. Lorenzen; her son Paul; her sister Marilee Piercy; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Gronwaldt Shepard; and her nephew Byrne Bielenberg.

She is survived by: her children, Eric (Julie) of Albuquerque, NM, John (Anna) of Bryant, IA and Karen of Davenport, IA; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Lorenzen of Goose Lake, IA; her grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Amber, Lukas, Kelsey, Matt, Jacob and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Koen, Jada, Kade Trenkamp, Carley, Kenna Roling, Lane and Lacey Lorenzen; her brother David Bielenberg (Ellen) of Charlotte, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Doug Piercy of Naples, FL, Chris Lorenzen (Sharon) of Davenport, IA and Kay Frahm (Jim) of Clinton, IA..
