She is survived by: her husband Michael; her parent Linda Melvin of Camanche; her siblings, Jennifer Nelson (Keith) of Camanche, Heather Montgomery (Jared) of LeClaire, Leah Melvin (Teri Fett) of Clinton, Jeffrey Melvin (Marie Pahan) of Ames, IA and Scott Melvin (Kristin Clague) of Cedar Rapids; and her uncles, Butch Knight (Jane) and Chuck Knight of Clinton.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Karen's name may be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
