She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Leonard and Lemma Leonard (Miller); her husbands, Roy Ewalt Jr., Childern Ricky Dean Ewalt, Robin Wagner, Ronda Kimmer and Ronald Ewalt; and her brothers, Dale and Lawrence.
She is survived by: her children, Roilynn Shady of Clinton, IA, Rodney Ewalt (Pam) of Muscatine, IA, Royce Ewalt (Ali) of Clinton and Many; her brother Floyd Leonard, Jr. (Ruth) of Princeton, IA; and her friend Lifesister (Nelly Leonard).
Joyce's favorite charity was St. Jude's Children's Hospital and her wishes would be for any donations to be made directly to them in support and help of others.
