He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Vernon, Judith Wilke, James and JoAnn Platter. He is survived by: his parents, Curtis Platter and Karen Platter (Wilke) of Clinton; his sister Keri Shelton (Troy) of West Branch; his nieces and nephews, Karly and Blake Shelton; and also, Angie Storjohann and Steel of Princeton, IA. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery (2100 Manufacturing Dr, Clinton, IA 52732).
