He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Macke and Leora Macke (Reiling); his siblings, Diana, James and Michael; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth "Buffy" Willis.

He is survived by: his children, Chad Macke (Liz) of Camanche and Abigail Macke of Camanche; his granddaughter Mia Macke; and his siblings, Elaine Macke-McKinney of Camanche and Ed Macke (Sue) of Parkersburg.
