He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Cooper and Imogene Cooper (Smith); his wife Lucille G. Stevens; his son William Dee Cooper; and his brothers, David and Roger.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Cooper (Maria) of Topeka and Ginger Cooper of Clinton, Iowa; his grandchildren, JayDee Cooper, Sierra Manis, Michelle Cooper, Brittany Cooper, Melissa Cooper, Michael Cooper and Bianca Cooper; and his siblings, Larry Cooper of Albany, IL, Billie Jean Worley of Clinton and Linda Troxel of Clinton. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
