He is survived by: his daughters, Alisha George (Jeremy) of Galesburg, IL, Casie DeGroot-Watters (Stephen) of Clinton, IA and Samantha DeGroot of Sedalia, MO; and his siblings, Janet Peters (Steve) of Galva, IL, Jacklin DeGroot-Beckner (Erv) of Abingdon, IL and John DeGroot (Connie) of Jacksonville, IL.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
