He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John J. Tritz and Kathryn Marie Tritz (Kerper); and his siblings, Thomas P. Tritz (Tom) of Lubbock, TX, Raeanne Pimlott of Angel's Camp, CA, Ellen Tarnawa of Mercer Island, WA and John Tritz of Camanche, IA..
He graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1968 and worked at Bennett Box Co. and Nielsen's. Jerry was very close to his brother Johnny who sat with him for four hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during Jerry's dialysis before the pandemic.
