He is survived by: his father John Schrader of Clinton; his brother Kevin Schrader (Suzanne) of DeWitt; his niece Stephanie; his nephew Kyle; his aunt Teresa Salisbury (Jim) of Davenport; and his uncles, Bill Schrader (Carol) of Charlotte, Steve Schrader (Carla) of Camanche and Gary Sander (Gwen) of DeWitt.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
