He is survived by: his wife Melinda Schlesener; his stepson Jon Schlesener of Clinton, IA; his stepmother Donna Groenewold of Morrison, IL; his brothers, Jerry Ammon of Dekalb, IL and Justin Groenewold of Clinton, IA; his stepbrother Randall Stricker (Tonya) of Thomson, IL; his sister-in-law Roxanne Groenewold of Morrison, IL; and his nephew Alex Groenewold. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
