She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nolting and Avelda Nolting (Clark); her husband Adolf Hehr; her siblings, Carolyn Peterson and Henry C Nolting; and her grandson Joshua Hall.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deanna Stafford (John) of Clinton, Dionne Witt of Clinton and Doreen Hall (Michael) of New Braunfels, TX; her grandchildren, Alison Harris, Olivia Witt, Micayla and Alexandria Hall; her great grandchildren, Charleigh Harris and Jordan Stafford; and her brother Roger Nolting (Marge) of Preston, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“It was my pleasure to meet and work in the same school building with Dear Janet. I was new at school nursing, and Janet was so very thoughtful, and helped me through the class doing vision checks. I apologize to the family, for missing Janet's husband Adolf Hehr's passing and obit. He too was a fellow worker at the Jane Lamb/later Mercy Hospital here in Clinton. Also a wonderful man and Rev, and my honor to call them both friends. God Speed to all! Maggie Jensen-Klaes”
