He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Morey and Nellie Frances Pilgrim (Cooper); his daughters, Lou Ann Pilgrim Cherry of Omaha, Linda Christensen (Ron) of Iowa City and Lisa Caruso (Thomas) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Brian Cherry (Bobbi) of Bellevue, David Cherry (Sarah Stephens) of Plattsmouth, Nicholas Caruso of Clinton and Cara Borter (Dan) of Deer Field, Wisconsin; his stepgrandsons, Jeff Christensen (Kristy), Ron Christensen, Jr. (Katy) and Dan Christensen; his great grandchildren, Ben Christensen, Lauren Christensen, Tyrus Nortman (Alma), Scott Nortman, Stevenson Christensen, Porter Steere, Oliver Cherry and Brinley Borter; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Pilgrim of Nevada and Donna Hall of Kalispell, Montana. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
