James N. Berkey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James N. Berkey of Clinton, Iowa, born in Humeston, Iowa, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Renwick and Phyllis Didema Berkey (Richey); and his wife Dorothy Elida Ehrhart. He is survived by: his children, Joan Elizabeth Berkey of Clinton, William Layton Berkey of Wadsworth, James Renwick Berkey (Mona) of Ames and Janet Louise Berkey of Camanche; his grandchildren, Elias James Diaz-Berkey, Megan Isabelle Berkey, Madeline Grace Berkey, Faith Geneva Cannon and Miles Andrew Carey; his brother Dick Berkey (Linda) of Lyons, Oregon; and his pet Stormy.
Memorials may be made to Prairie Pastures Dog Park in Clinton or to the March of Dimes.
