He is survived by: his wife Dessa Watts; and his children, Susan Lyons (Thomas) of Camanche, IA, James Jr. (Kay) of Long Grove, IA, John of Clinton, William Brian (Shelly) of DeWitt, IA and Matthew (Christa) of Oak Ridge, NC. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
