He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jewell and Florence Mae Jewell (Harrington); his wife Iola Mae Kubert; his son Donald Jewell (Barb); and his daughter-in-law Carol.
He is survived by: his sons, Rodney Lee Jewell (La Sene) of Clinton, IA and Jody James Jewell of Clinton, IA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
