It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hertis Davis Sr. (Clinton, Iowa), born in Hammond, Louisiana, who passed away on September 6, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Davis and Dora Davis (Garant); his son Anthony Davis; his sister Juanita; and also Dora.

He is survived by: his wife Faye of Clinton, IA; his children, Cynthia Dingle (Gregory) of Baltimore, MD, Ivory Davis (Cammy) of Davenport, IA and Hertis Davis (Lisa) of Fulton; and his sister Clara Spears. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
