He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ward and Doris Ward (Thompson); his daughter Theresa Soesbe; and his granddaughters, Amanda and Allyson.
He is survived by: his wife Clevetta Andrews; his children, Dorothy Anderson-Arlen (Mark), David Ward (Dawn Eagle) of Savanna and Kenneth Ward (Myra) of Conover, NC; his grandchildren, Sarah, Brian, Luc, John, Leslie, Laura, Andrew, Taylor and Shane; and his stepgrandchildren, Jordan and Talitha. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
