He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Leslie (Gilbert) and Clarence Leslie; his sister Jaqueline Pollard; his daughter Victoria Hickle; and his grandchildren, Cynthia Ellis and Ryan.
He is survived by: his former spouse Madlyn Paulsen; his wife Sharon Morthland; his children, Kathryn Challenger (Rod), John Leslie, Mark Leslie, Marsha Broms, Dawn Harvey (Tim) and Fred; his pet Miss Kitty; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Levy (Michele), Tim Mills, Leslie Solberg (Scott), Michael Leslie, Theresa Krewinski, Alison Grimstead, Jill Miller (Dane), Kaitlin Ebensberger (Derek) and Jesse James.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Mercy Hospice or the Clinton Humane Society.
