He was predeceased by: his father John Murphy; his grandson Crews Anderson; and his nephew Andrew Christiansen. He is survived by: his mother Rachel Murphy (Sander) of Clinton, IA; his daughter Sharyl Wanzek (Jeff) of Clinton, IA; his granddaughters, Hadlee and Aurora; and his siblings, David Murphy of Clinton, IA., Michael Murphy of Clinton, IA., Maria Andresen of Clinton, IA., Cheryl Dykstra of Clinton, IA. and Christina Murphy of Clinton, IA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732).
