We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, at the age of 78, George E. Long Jr. of Clinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy George leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Long, and Margaret Long, Sr. (Welsh). He is survived by: his wife Judy Hilgendorf; his daughter Shannon Anderson (Jason) of Bettendorf; his granddaughters, Madeline, Olivia and Kaira; and his sisters, Patrice Long of Florida and Mary Staszewski of Clinton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
