He was predeceased by: his father Walter K. Biermann; his wife Gloria F. DeWeerdt; his children, Gena Biermann and Gerry Biermann; and his siblings, Lucille Dietz, Walter Biermann, Jr., Richard Biermann and Robert Biermann.
He is survived by: his daughter Gayle Dykstra (Roger) of Thomson, IL; his sister Evelyn Haas of Morrison, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Dykstra of Clinton, IA and Carol Biermann of New Jersey. He is also survived by six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to The Gideons International and Community Reformed Church Mission Fund.
