He is survived by: his sons, Jakob Rathje of Clinton, IA and Travis Rathje (Renee) of Papillion, NE; his mother Ione Rathje-Edlen (Brown) of Sabula, IA; and his siblings, Gayle Fraker of Clinton, IA and Danny Rathje (Deanna) of Sabula, IA. He is also survived by six nieces & nephews.
