He is survived by: his children, Laura Pink (Jeff) of Newton, Tina Hedgpath (Steve) of Kings Mountain and Gary Ballard, II (Audra Remrey) of Fulton; and his sister Sue Henderson (Steve) of Tennessee. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
