He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Chris and Marie Isabel Mohl (Smith); and his sisters, Cheryl Wurster and Joan Clapp. He is survived by: his wife Alice Mae Crosthwaite of Clinton, IA; his children, Gregg Mohl (Rhonda) of Clinton, IA, Brenda Snyder (Kent) of Belleville, IL, Mark Mohl (Shelly) of Osage, IA and Jody James (Brian) of Anamosa, IA; his grandchildren, Megan Mohl, Courtney Mohl, Amanda Bigley (Alex), Joshua Snyder (Kylie), Cameron James, Dylan James, Cassidy Molitor (Trevor), Mariah James and McKenzie Mohl; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Finnegan, Wyatt, Nora and Adalynn.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Gary E. Mohl memorial fund has been established.
