He is survived by: his siblings, Melvin Ploog (Shirley) of Charlotte, Larry Ploog (Deb) of Charlotte, Darrel Ploog (Dixie) of Goose Lake, David Ploog of Charlotte, Diane McVey (Ron) of Camanche and Sandra Roling (Ron) of Charlotte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
