He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar L. Sr and Dagmar "Doc" Jones Sr. (Jensen); his wife Mary; his brother Edgar L. Jones Jr.; his sister-in-law Jane Jones; and his stepdaughter Judy Owens.
He is survived by: his nephews, Eric Anthony Jones (Yelena) of Fairfax, VA, Jeffrey Jones (Donna) of Ann Arbor, MI, Robert Jones (Debbie) of Silver Springs, MD and Timothy Jones (Jackie) of Simpsonville, SC; his stepdaughters, Janice Mussmann (Dale) of Clinton and Anne Sybrandy (Sid) of Hemet, CA; his daughter Julie Jones; and his stepson Robert Koontz (Beth) of Clinton. He is also survived by 9 step grandchildren and 27 step great-grandchildren.
