He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril James and Dorothy Mary Kalina (Kent); his brother Dennis Kalina; his nephew Caleb Kalina; and his mother-in-law Jean Roseland.
He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Roseland; his children, Kristopher Kalina (Renae) of Clinton, Karlyn Kalina (Megan) of Clinton and Karla Donovan (Bryan) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Krishel, Orion, Mandolin, Dylan, Patrick, Annabeth, Maggie and Codi; his great grandchild Aebrilyn; his siblings, David Kalina (Janet Blazen) of Benton Harbor and Debbie Shaw (Paul) of Clinton; and his father-in-law Earl Roseland of Clinton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
