He is survived by: his wife Shizuko Tobaru of Clinton; his children, David Obermiller of St. Peter, Cindy Obermiller (Mike Yackshaw) of Clinton and Lisa (Dan Blaszinski) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, Daniel (Carol), Ben, Lilly and Delaney; and his siblings, Randa McAlpine of Camanche, Bonnie Flynn of Ingleside and Julie Harmon (Jeff) of Clinton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
