It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Smith (Clinton, Iowa), born in Hamburg, Arkansas, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Chase and Trena Chase (Bates); and her husband Charles Stuart "Stu" Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Kristin Smith Ladewig (Scott Ladewig) of Maryland Heights, Missouri; her sister Barbara Weltzin (Darrell) of DeWitt, Iowa; her niece Michelle Weltzin-Trainer (Vicki) of Davenport, Iowa; her nephew Brad Weltzin (Jennifer) of Taylorsville, Utah; and her great-nephews, Ian, Jay and Owen.
