Dessa Mae Borota Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dessa Mae Borota of Clinton, Iowa, born in LaGrange, Georgia, who passed away on October 28, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover H. Watts and Blanche Watts (Cook); her husband James Borota, Sr.; and her cousin Judy. She is survived by: her children, Susan Lyons (Thomas) of Camanche, IA, James Jr. Borota (Kay) of Long Grove, IA, John Borota of Lanark, IL, Brian Borota (Shelly) of DeWitt, IA and Matthew Borota (Christa) of Oak Ridge, NC; and her sister-in-law Joan Borota of Clinton, IA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials will be directed to the Clinton Community College's Nursing Program.
