She was predeceased by: her father Vern Larson. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Larson (Kuehner) of Clinton; her daughter Brooke Larson of Clinton; and her brother Dr. Earl Larson of Jacksonville, FL..

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home (2308 Pershing Blvd, Clinton, IA 52732).

Memorials may be made to the Clinton Humane Society.

“Barb & Earl, it was with great sorrow that I found that sweet Dea had passed. I can not express my sorrow and sympathy enough. I have such wonderful memories of our childhood shared. The camping was so fun and Dea kept me out of trouble as best as she could. We got so excited when we knew our parents were going to supper because that meant we got to see each other. When I think of Dea, I smile remembering what a gentle soul, easy to laugh and a genuine friend. My deepest of sympathies.”
