He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Lawrence and Jean Speakman (Taylor). He is survived by: his daughters, Tina M. Willhite (Duane) of Hiawatha, IA and Laura C. Vogel (Brent) of Clinton, IA; his stepchildren, Chad L. Holy (Rachel), Danielle D. Holy and Angela Woster (Marcus); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Maria, Carson, Skylar, Oliver, Quinn and Avrey; and his siblings, Susan J. Miller (Steve) and Stephen B. Speakman of North Liberty, IA.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hope Lodge, Iowa City.
