It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David H. Schoel of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter H. Schoel and Julie Schoel (Schnieder); his siblings, Richard "Dick", Robert and Phyllis; and his sons-in-law, Skip Miller and Paul Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Horst; his children, Kris Davis of Clinton, Lori Miller of Clinton, Brian Schoel of Clinton and Cindy Tinderholt (Chad) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Josh, Isaac, Solomon, Luke, Whitney, Jeremy, Sidney, Blake and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Braden, Emery, Madison, Alex and Lincoln; and his pet Cricket.
